Who we are
Emmaus Grace Store is a 100% NZ owned and operated online shop selling Christian grace-based books and DVDs in New Zealand. We operate as a business under New Zealand laws and commit to comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act as well as the Fair Trading Act. We are committed to bringing our readers and customers Christian grace-based resources at the best price with the best service possible. While we do pay staff a fair salary, we endeavour to put as much as possible of our proceeds back into growing the ministry and the store for the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
All prices in our shop are quoted in NZ$ inclusive of GST. Additional shipping charges may apply for purchases under NZ$75. What you pay to us will be the total price (including shipping charges if any) as stated at the checkout at the time of your order.
All payments are to be made using the methods stated in the Shopping Cart section. We do not accept Cash on Delivery orders. All payments are made through our secure payment gateway (Paypal Express) and we do not hold any payment card information. Customers under the age of 18 are advised to seek parental consent before placing an order.
Processing and shipping your order
Once you place an order in the Shopping Cart, it will take up to 3 days for us to process your order. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is processed and also when it is shipped.
We will contact you if we are unable to process your order e.g. if we are out of stock of the product you ordered, and you can choose to cancel your order or proceed with your order while waiting for our stock to come in (we will advise you of the estimated wait time).
Unless you specify otherwise, all orders will be shipped on standard shipping times (3-6 business days) at an additional charge of NZ$5 (up to 1 kg in weight). Shipping to rural and South Island may take longer and charges for parcels heavier than 1 kg will be higher.
Purchases over NZ$75 in one order will enjoy free standard shipping within New Zealand. Please ensure that you have entered your correct shipping address when placing your order as errors may result in delays and additional reshipping charges.
We will always try to send your order in a single package/delivery. If this is not possible e.g. unavailability of one of the products in your order, we will contact you for a confirmation to send your order in multiple packages (shipping charges will apply per package).
At the current time we regret that we are unable to ship outside New Zealand.
If your order does not get to you within 15 days of the date they were dispatched, please contact us within 15 days to arrange for a reshipment or refund. We regret that we will not be able to entertain any requests of non-delivery if we do not hear from you by 30 days after the date of dispatch.
Cancellation, defects and refunds
If you change your mind about your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has already been shipped, any shipping charges already incurred will not be refunded. You may return the product in its original and unopened condition to us within 30 days of receiving the product and we will refund you the price of the product. Products that have been opened will not be refundable.
If your order was received damaged or defective please contact us within 15 days of receiving the product and we will arrange for their return and a replacement at no cost to you or a full refund if you prefer.
Refunds will be processed via the same method of payment e.g. credit to your credit card account. If this is not possible, we will arrange a refund to you via bank transfer.
